Eric ran a simple idea past Ralph. Help brides get all the vendors they need for their wedding in one place. Really? Another wedding site… there was something there, but it wasn’t good enough.
It needed work and the two started to address some of the real issues facing couples planning a wedding.
Issues like how young couples can get money to pay for quality services, how to find the best vendors, how to eliminate stress and how to make collaboration with friends and family easier.
With a million ideas flying through the air and constant changes to the platform the two drove James the programmer insane. Most of the ideas came while Ralph was stuck in traffic on the 405, Eric was making his wife coffee and James was feeding his goat.
Between the 3 of them there was about 10,000 miles of distance, but that didn’t stop them. Each week they collaborated using Skype conference calls and the inspiration came.
